Thanks a lot for all of the riders who came to my farewell ride, and to all the people who couldn’t make it and sent their greetings on the site. Special thanks to Wg Cdr CSV Ramany for hosting us for brunch with great Idly, Ukma, Lemonade and more. And another special thanks to Sudhansu who made it all the way from Bangalore for this ride, this is really awesome!
It was a great ride, I was really happy that we were able to go in a paceline for so long in a good speed, able to do some trails, ride inside the city and basically taste a bit of every thing that Hyderabad can offer.
It was a very important day for me, seeing how many people are now riding on both side of the city and to know that the club will continue to go and grow. I am proud to leave something like this behind in Hyderabad, and I hope I made something for the community, the environment and most importantly to the people I rode with. It was a great experience for me, helping to create such an initiative and growing it, with the help of so many people like Sunil, Sandeep, Ed & Juli, Krishna, Ramany, Prasad, Matt, Deena, Shilpa, Sudhansu, Satish, Maddy, Karthik, Krish and many many more. There is still to be done, and I am happy to see so many enthusiastic people that will continue to promote cycling for all its good causes.
It is hard to leave such a great group of people, I will surely miss you, but I hope to be back for a tour or some other big ride. I will definitely stay as a member, so I will get all the mails and get jealous about the activities you will be doing. Any one of you is always invited to visit Israel and I can assure you that you will have cycles to ride there, great trails and my company. I will try to arrange some trip for us in Israel, so whoever will want to join will be able to experience the holy land while cycling.
