De-Tox Ride

Good Morning folks!! We missed you all in this beautiful ride…riding in the morning chill has never been so much fun!! I woke up at 03:50 in the morning to be there on time for the ride. I met Mallik on my way to the meeting point. It was nice to see the enthusiasm in him and passing it on to his son. After bidding good bye to them (they wanted to do a shorter ride), Diwakar and I did the Wipro circle loop so that Samrat could catch-up with us.

Samrat joined us for a ride after a long time, may be the Nagarjun Sagar ride was the last ride he was with us. We hit some rough roads and climbed the hill for our appointment with Sun. It was an amazing experience. We posed for photographs and started zooming downhill to hit the Shankarapalli road.

We cycled an extra 1.5k just for a cuppa of hot tea!! Must hai!! We were also tempted by the steaming idli’s at the stall and helped ourselves with some idlis. Time to get back on track dude, so we turned our bikes towards Kollur village. Peacocks requested us to stop by and showed us their beautiful colours, they were joined by other birds like parrots, swallow, kingfisher , others (I don’t know their names :-)).

We wanted more!! so we went on the hunt for the mysterious club house and settled on the tree house for some chiki. We then started our hunt for the hidden tunnel that leads to Lingampalli, we followed a famer to his fields!! We finally found our way back through the tunnel and reached Lingampalli from where Diwakar and Samrat took the Gachibowli road and I took the short cut road for my home.

This ride de-toxified us and now we are full of oxygen ready for another grueling time at work with a Sunday in the middle!! The pics of today’s ride is uploaded here. The link of the route is here.
