Individual Time Trial Results

We had our first official Individual Time Trial (ITT) today. We had two new members joining today, who took the first two places. Here are the results:

We definitely could have used more volunteers as marshals and time keepers. Unfortunately 4 out of the 15 riders lost their way, even though there were arrow signs at the side of the road and on the road, but it wasn’t easy to spot them. And the time keeper which was a friend of the Cluburb.com reporter.

And we should have coordinated this better with the university, as the guards did not let the time keeper go inside from the main gate, and also stopped some of the riders from entering through the back gate during the race.

We will definitely learn from that for the next races. For getting more marshals we will need your help –get your friends, family and colleague to come and watch the race and cheer you. They can help us by standing in different junctions and directing people, in keeping the time and providing information to the riders.

As we said, this is just an initial benchmark for each one. It is a good way to find how you got improved from race to race.

We will conduct the next race in Mid June, and will follow it by the Duathlon in July. We are still looking for the best date for the Duathlon in coordination with the Hyderabad Marathon that is scheduled in August. The race will probably be: run 2km – cycle 20km –run 5km. So keep on training!

Just Ride!
